Bonnie - You've done a brilliant job at pulling the strings together, and in such a strong way. You've really taken it in a whole new direction and it's made it very intriguing too. Well done.

Now, Roberta, were you still keen to help wrap the story up? It would probably only take one last piece. If Roberta's not free, does anyone else fancy being our tier-upper? :-) Maybe Bonnie could share her version of the end with the final person (Roberta?), to make sure that everything has been taken into account. Bonnie did a wonderful analysis of all the pieces and highlighted where things needed to be addressed, etc. Great work.

NothingMan, really glad to see you pulled Grace back into the story, it was feeling like she'd been gone too long - and wow, didn't you just do it with a powerful burst of action - left me reeling.

And now Meloney brings in time travel - this story is starting to fly and get deeply intriguing!

Continuity ~ #20 has brought in two continuity problems, but I think I see a way of resolving that ... while also keeping everything that is already there. May I work on the next section? If that's allowed, may I have ONE person willing to work with me? I would pick Jon of Writing in a Vaccuum, if he's got the time and the interest. Otherwise, maybe someone would volunteer to work with me?

Hi there everyone,

Yes, great idea about a list of things for continuity. :-) This is probably more useful now that things have grown so much. I will try to get to this if I get a minute, unless there is some other kind soul who wants to volunteer! :-)

I do feel the story is coming to an end soon, though, given that we're now running out of people to call on for the next instalments. We will need some "wrapper-upper" writers soon ... people who would like to put the whole thing to bed with a nice conclusion. Do let me know if anyone's interested in doing this, even those who have already contributed and who have some ideas about an ending.

I would like to move on to another writing project before too long - something entirely different, which will hopefully become a useful writing resource. More details later. :-)

Ah great continuation, Apprentice, as Barbara says, good to slow down the pace and give the reader a breather and space to reflect on the story per se.

Yes, I agree, a summary would be good. List of characters, plot line etc.
